The Atlanta Girls’ School offers a challenging college preparatory program for girls in grades 6 through 12 who are intellectually curious, academically motivated, and committed to obtaining the education and support to achieve their full potential.

The AGS environment focuses on ways girls learn best; the entire educational experience is designed for girls to learn how to learn and to become independent thinkers. Students are encouraged to take academic risks and to develop their individual talents and creativity. We endorse and nurture the strengths in our students.

Our ultimate goal is to inspire in our students a passion for learning which will guide their pursuit of life-long learning, to be knowledgeable and responsible citizens of the world who are confident and courageous in meeting life’s challenges.
